These are the most recent shots of Project REDRUM. The ProCharger and the 32-valve combination is unreal!
This is a custom fabricated application for the ProCharger... It truly is one of a kind. Chris custom built the main bracket and miscellaneous parts to convert the system for a Navigator DOHC engine! And we can reproduce this system and install a ProCharger on any DOHC Navigator engine (From P-1SC to the F-3 compressors)!!!
A link to Chris's online photo album. This site serves to hit the highlights only. Much more to be found at the link below!

Chris spared no expense on ANY component he has installed. And all aircraft quality! He has upgraded to a ProCharger F-1A! 700/700 at 4900 RPM!

Since this project has been completed, we have UPGRADED. It is obvious the work is AIRCRAFT QUALITY, as is the fabrication and labor. I have taken note of the details you can't see, without revealing too many trix.
This engine now uses a ProCharger F-1A in place of the D-1SC we originally installed! This is the ONLY Navigator engine we are aware of with this ProCharger RACE hardware installed. And it WORKS!
THE LATEST engine and drivetrain images. It now uses a blow through cartridge MAF and a 5000 RPM stall converter! The changes are very SUBTLE, but the RESULT is WICKED. Once the AN lines are plumbed, off to the dyno again. But we hit over 600 HP at 4000 RPM, while redline is well over that!
We have every intention of gaining ProCharger's recognition by becoming a member of the 1000 HP club! More to come once we hit the dyno!
Forged "H" beam rods, and forged pistons. And, of course, the crankshaft is also forged...
The stock 4R100 has failed to meet the HP requirements of this new 5.4 with the F-1A installed, so Chris went with a custom built TH 400 that is built to withstand 1000 + HP and also a 5000 RPM stall speed! This truck is going to LAUNCH like a monster!
Chris's custom designed and built shifter!
The finished product. Excellent craftsmanship!
The hand build custom solid mount for the engine and transmission. A plate was not required up front, with this piece installed. There is NO drivetrain flex. All the power will be transmitted to the ground!
Also note the nice shot of the Kooks custom headers...
The completed short-block assembly, about ready to drop in. These images show a progression only. The truck is now up and running, and has a street tune installed, but is driven nearly daily. Within the month, this truck will be tuned for MAX power while still keeping it alive!
The latest on the tuning. The MAF we maxed out has been replaced, and the "Bullet proof" converter that failed has also been replaced. The new blow through cartridge type MAF and a 5000 RPM stall converter are now installed. Dyno results will be posted soon, as the dyno day is already scheduled for the end of March, 2014!
Chris is ready for the dyno, and then this beast will be unleashed!
IT IS ALIVE!
Project REDRUM. Starved for fuel.
This DOHC 5.4 with an F-series ProCharger installed made 600 HP as we maxed out
the MAF at 4000 RPM. Now we maxed out the fuel pump, but are one step closer to
getting it tuned, and a FULL DYNO PULL. It was just starting to hit the
powerband too...
HERE IS THE LATEST DYNO RUN AND GRAPH. ON THE DYNO, WE FOUND THE MAF AD COUNTS TO STOP CLIMBING AT 4900 RPM.
After consulting ProCharger, we believe Chris may need to upgrade the intercooler.
Latest images of Project REDRUM!
These DEPO head lamps create an aggressive look! I chose the same set, and I love the look!
This is one SWEET ride. Great taste in parts and highly skilled in fabrication, this truck will incinerate the rear tires from an 80 mph roll!
Time to "Back half" the truck! Traction is a serious problem... As you can imagine from a ProCharged DOHC Intech!
